That's just it, one isn't "marking up" the product, one of them DESIGNED the product and one of them COPIED it, outsourced it to China and slashed the price from a combination of far cheaper labor, bulk materials and ZERO R&D. Even Greg acknowledges the price difference is huge and understands some people will be cheap about it and get those pipes. Even if they do happen to crack by some small chance, do happen to have actual smaller diameter piping on the DP (thanks to them copying an earlier, test model on a bad jig) and look like inferior stainless steel from the sets I've seen, they are still dirt cheap. If you don't mind all that and still want to skimp, go for it. You wont be the first and wont be the last. Hell, even reputable vendors here copy eachother and undercut them...it's the American Way.
